Lutung: Trachypithecus cristatus

The lutung, with the scientific name Trachypithecus cristatus, has been successfully observed by a group of Biology students from the Animal Behavior Zoology Team on the afternoon of March 31, as part of the Mini Project for Biodiversity Inventory at the UBB Campus Forest.
This lutung is very active during the day and enjoys spending its time in the trees. It plays, forages for food, or simply relaxes while munching on leaves. It is quite shy around humans, preferring to steal glances from a distance. If approached directly, it quickly runs away.
There are still many other interesting things in the UBB Campus Forest. We are also preparing engaging videos related to the biodiversity of the UBB campus.
